This policy covers Perth Stone Protection ("we", "us"), a Perth, Western Australia business. Perth Stone Protection is a registered Western Australian business, ABN 95 629 350 579. The short version: we collect what we need to quote and do your job, we store it in the systems named below, we never sell it, and you can ask us to show, fix or delete it at any time.
What we collect
What you give us through the quote form or in conversation: your name, phone number, email address, suburb, the type of stone you have, rough measurements, and photos of your surfaces. Once a job is booked, we also hold your address and the details recorded on your warranty certificate.
Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (things like IP addresses and pages requested) to run and protect the site.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Every page of this site except our advertising landing pages uses Google Analytics, so we can understand in aggregate how visitors use it. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location. We don't use it to identify you personally, and you can opt out of it across every site that uses it with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
The site also carries the Meta pixel, on every page including our advertising landing pages. It lets us measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads are working, and show our ads to people who have visited the site or who share interests with our visitors. On our advertising landing pages it additionally records when someone requests a quote, so we can see how many people who clicked an ad went on to enquire. Requests you send from anywhere else on this site are not recorded by Meta as an enquiry.
The pixel sets cookies and shares your activity on the site with Meta, which may match it to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. You can control that in your Meta ad preferences, or block it with your browser's tracking protection.
Every page except our advertising landing pages also carries visitor tracking from LeadConnector, the system that runs our quote form and holds our customer records. It sets its own cookies to record the pages you look at and where you arrived from. If you later send us an enquiry, that history is attached to your record, so we can see what you were reading before you got in touch and answer you better. If you never make an enquiry, it stays as anonymous browsing activity.
Every page of this site, including our advertising landing pages, also carries Microsoft Clarity. Unlike the tools above, which count visits, Clarity records how a page is actually used: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and the order pages were viewed in, replayed as an anonymous session so we can see where a page confuses people. It does not record what you type into the quote form, and we don't use it to identify you. It sets cookies and the recordings are held by Microsoft. You can opt out for every site that uses it at clarity.microsoft.com/terms.
Beyond these, the site sets no cookies of its own.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your details to anyone. And photos of your home stay private: we never use a customer's photos in our marketing without asking first and hearing a clear yes.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, prepare your quote, schedule and complete the installation, keep your warranty record, and stay in touch about your job. If you ticked the consent box on the quote form, we may also send occasional service messages by SMS or email; you can opt out any time by replying STOP, using the unsubscribe link, or just telling us.
Where it's stored
Enquiries and customer records live in our customer management system, LeadConnector (HighLevel), whose servers may be located overseas, including in the United States. The website is hosted on Cloudflare's global network. The embedded quote form is provided by LeadConnector and may set its own functional cookies inside the form. The analytics, tracking and advertising tools described above are run by Google, Meta, Microsoft and LeadConnector, who process that usage data on their own servers overseas, including in the United States, under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
For as long as it's relevant: through your quote, your job, your warranty period, and the records a business is required to keep. If you'd like your details deleted sooner, ask, and we'll delete whatever we're not legally required to hold.
Your rights
Ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. The fastest route is the contact page. If you're not happy with how we handle a privacy concern, tell us first and we'll try to put it right; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date at the top. No silent edits.
